Key information Nursery 2017/18 academic year

Our Nursery Class opened in September 2016 and offers quality Early Years education to children (aged 3 and 4) during the academic year before they start Reception.  Whilst we are able to offer a maximum of 26 spaces, the class size does not usually exceed 16 children in any session.  Our Class is led by an Early Years Teacher and supported by a Nursery Assistant who holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.

Learning Environment

Our classroom in the main school building is ever changing, adapting to suit our topics and to fit the children’s needs and interests.  We make great use of our outdoor space; which includes a garden area (used almost exclusively by Nursery and Reception), the school playground which includes 2 sets of play park equipment and the school field.

Opening Hours, Funding and Fees

Nursery offers morning, afternoon and all day sessions between the hours of 8.45 and 3.15, term time only.  Wrap around care is also available at the beehive in the school grounds before 7.30am and after school 5.45pm

We offer the 15 hour Early Year Entitlement Funding (available for 3 year olds the term after their 3rd Birthday), and 30 Hour Funding (for Eligible Families).  Further hours are charged (please contact us for the current rate).
